I'm starting to think Saturday is a horrible night to set a deadline... We're missing one of our two retreat orders. The player in question has been notified in a seperate email. We'll hold off for 24 hours, and then I will auto-retreat OTB if no orders are forthcoming.

Thanks for the patience during the short Spring 04 delay. All late-comers were able to get orders in and quite a fine mess was created on the board. Russia makes a giant leap for mankind to the south, Germany marches triumphantly back into Munich and and Turkey is able to sigh "Ah Venice...."
Slight misorder on Italy's part was what led to the Turkish annexation of the city of canals. Meanwhile, two German armies are dislodged and need to find new homes of their own. Deadline for the Summer 04 retreats will be set for Saturday, November 1st (11:59 PM GMT).

Heya gang,
Alright, with a few extra hours we were able to rope in all the varied sets of adjustments. Admittedly, I did extend a little longer than I should have in this instance - mostly because I felt fairly awful about causing the long delay myself last week. I will do this once for each of you, if needed, for fairness sake. However one of you has now used his free pass. =)
Game-wise, we bid farewell to our friendly Arch-Duke and look forward to seeing him in the next game. France builds below the Eiffel tower, opposing fleets spring up in Naples and Smyrna and Germany scuttles ships in Edinburgh and Kiel. I'm going to try to spruce up the deadlines a little - setting the Spring 1904 deadline for Tuesday, October 28th (11:59 PM GMT). Just let me know if that's going to be too quick for anyone.

(Which makes sense, as you were all probably waiting on the retreats..) Some powers definitely get their fair share of attention during the Fall 03 moves, as northern England falls to two separate powers and Germany gets slammed from all different directions. Meanwhile Turkey powers into Trieste and our Arch-duke resigns himself to a lonely fate in exile.
