DC 218 SHIFT LEFT: FA09 results. Retreats and adju... - stevelytton at gmail.com   (Jun 09, 2009, 1:51 am)
I'll confirm retreat to North Africa.

2009/6/9 Packrat <brn2dip(at)yahoo.com (brn2dip(at)yahoo.com)>

Austrian F Tunis can retreat to North Africa.
Russian A Ukraine can retreat to Moscow.
Russian A Warsaw can retreat to Livonia or Moscow or Galicia.

The adjustments below assume all units retreat OTB -
Austria:       Supp  8 Unit  8 Build  0 Remove 1 if retreat is not OTB
England:      Supp  0 Unit  0 Build  0
France:       Supp  5 Unit  3 Build  1
Germany:    Supp  9 Unit  7 Build  2
Italy:           Supp  6 Unit  6 Build  0
Russia:        Supp  3 Unit  3 Build  0 Removes 1 or 2 if 1 or 2 retreats are OTB
Turkey:       Supp  3 Unit  3 Build  0

I would like to process the retreats before the adjustments so lets have the retreats by Wednesday
at 2100 and the builds tentatively scheduled for Friday.  If France and Germany don't care about the
retreats to decide their builds then we can do it all for Wednesday and move right along.

Yes, Turkey did NMR and he also has to Wednesday to let me know if he still wants to play this
game or not.  If not I will CD the position

Gentlemen:

It has been brought to my attention that an error has been made in the adjudication.

Germany ordered Silesia to Warsaw and somehow I did not enter that on the map.
I'm not sure why because I do remember reading it. In the end nothing changes on
the map, but having been in the position of the player I know how important it is to
have even failed orders posted correctly.

My apologies for the screw up and thanks for catching the error.

So since it is before the deadline there is an extension until tomorrow.

Feel free to call the GM police if this is a problem.

right from the DPY. Either way, this should be the correct map and the only changes
are that Italy IS in Naples and he now has two builds.

O, esteemed GM. I believe you told us that the Italian army was in Naples after the Spring. Could it be that he is still there, rather than in Rome?

No retreats are needed so we move right to builds. This is what I need:

Austria: Supp 6 Unit 4 Build 2
England: Supp 0 Unit 0 Build 0
France: Supp 3 Unit 4 Remove 1
Germany: Supp 8 Unit 4 Build 3
Italy: Supp 7 Unit 4 Build 1
Russia: Supp 6 Unit 4 Build 2
Turkey: Supp 3 Unit 3 Build 0

One player is getting married (talk about Diplomacy!) Saturday so we are on a hiatus
until 5/4/09 at 2100. If I get his adjustment before I will change that deadline but for
that's where it stands.

Hmmm, yes I did, and it did hold in naples. Let me see where I screwed up and correct it.

I'm not sure why the DPY file was wrong, since the GIF was correct and that comes
right from the DPY. Either way, this should be the correct map and the only changes
are that Italy IS in Naples and he now has two builds.

OK gents - there are two things at this time.

1. Italy retreats to MAO.

2. Italy DID order ROM to NAP and somehow I missed it.

The new map is attached and the fall orders are due April 16 at 2100.
