DC253 S07 ANOTHER TUN OF PROGRESS FOR T - vegas_iwish (Aug 21, 2009, 9:31 pm) |
USSR is already now at a status where no waiting will occur if is the sole missing player. Running turns with 2 mising can make the game a farce which makes me tentative about ruining a game others have made a real effort at.

Can we impose a stricter rule about this?
Granted NMRs are a pain, I feel after ample warning (say,
the e-mail sent out on Monday) and a 24 hour grace period,
waiting penalizes the other players. It also causes
confusion with correspondence, as the "diplomacy
phase" is extended for an indefinate and somewhat
unpredictable amount of time....

darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun
shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories
that stayed with you - That meant something. Even if you
were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I
do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of
chances of turning back only they didn't. They kept
going because they were holding onto something."
"What are we holding onto, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo.
And it's worth fighting for."

Italy implodes though the block of the Turk convoy slows T down a bit. Not as doctrinaire on this 1 as the Shifts & Milan but some decisions of mult players I strongly questioned in my mind earlier continue to bear bitter fruit now. Lets get adjs Mon. DC253 S05 SUN NEVER SETS? - IGNORE 1ST SEND - vegas_iwish (Jul 09, 2009, 12:07 am) |
Above may be true for the British Empire but the orders this time were very foggy. 2 orders for lon( I always take 1st). None for Hol. 1 for non-existant A Bel. Invalid move for Mao. Turkish moves were crisp & deadly on the other hand. Thanks for playing, Mark, as G is done. At least no chance of the guy with mustache coming to power. When I was doing 12-18 games in past I never waited. For just 1 now I will but not necessarily this long. Both rets have only 1 option. If want to disband instead - 24 hrs. 7/16 FOR FALL
