Okay, France retreats to Spain south coast, and Fall is now due on Friday the 7th of January 2011, 17:00 MST. If I happen to get all orders clearly marked as final I can adjudicate earlier possibly.

Maps are attached. Have fun.

It's late and I need to sleep now, but will write you all tomorrow! I am an ICT Teacher from South Africa, and love Diplomacy!
I hope you will consider me a new player, with new ideas and not treat me as an extension of whatever may have happened before.

Hi folks,
We have a new France. Dorian Love has agreed to step in... thanks Dorian. I couldn't put France in CD considering the situation, so we'll go on from here with our new volunteer.
The game is still at the summer 08 season, waiting for retreats from England AND FRANCE, which I'm going to allow because noone is going into Civil Disorder. Retreats possible are pasted below this paragraph. I'm going to give until Monday January 3, 2011, 17:00 MST for discussions to take place before I adjudicate that summer turn, so you've all got a few days to chat.
English F English Channel can retreat to Mid-Atlantic Ocean or
Irish Sea or London or OTB.
French F Gulf of Lyon can retreat to Spain(sc) or OTB.

DC 333, New Plan - alwayshunted   (Dec 29, 2010, 5:20 pm)

DC 333, Spring 1908 - alwayshunted   (Dec 29, 2010, 2:49 pm)
Hi folks,

Apparently interest has waned for a couple of our participants. No orders from France or Italy. By the house rules this puts France into Civil Disorder, and he will be credited with abandoning a game. Italy submitted an order last fall, so not in CD yet.

The R/T/F draw proposal fails. Turkey rejoices as France quits and leaves him some easy pickings. I'm not sure if anything can stop him now.....

Two retreats are needed, one from England and one from France. The French unit will disband because of the CD status, but I need one from England (see below). It will be due in two days, on December 31 at 17:00 MST. It's two days because I won't be around tomorrow.... and I expect I will make Fall 08 due a few days after that, probably on the 3rd of January. Salim, if I get the retreat today I can adjudicate early.

Hi folks,

Here is the winter turn. I got orders from everyone, but Russia did not specify a coast for his build, so he will waive his for this year. Get in the habit of specifying coasts people... if you do it even when it doesn't matter you will be less likely to forget when it does.

Here are the other adjustments:

France:
Remove F North Africa
Remove A Spain
Remove A Burgundy

Russia:
Build waived

Turkey:
Build A Constantinople
Build A Smyrna

So we are on to spring now. I don't think I will take a break for the holidays, but I will make the next deadline a week from now. In the new year I will try again to speed things up a bit. Spring 1908 is due in one week, Tuesday December 28, 2010, 17:00 MST.

Maps are attached. Have fun, and have a great holiday season everyone.

A few things to catch up on. One, the draw proposed last year failed this spring, which I forgot to point out in the adjudication. Two, we have another proposal, this time for a two-way Russia/Turkey draw. Please vote with your fall orders. And three, I have had a request to speed the game up a bit, which I think I can do. If you have any objections, please let me know.

Okay, the summer turn had the French fleet retreat to Tyrrhenian Sea. I will make fall due on Wednesday next week, the 15th of December 2010, 17:00 MST.

I can't provide you with a map at the moment, but I'll try again at some point to find a better computer and get a map generated.

Hi folks,

The two way draw.... fails. There is a new proposal now for a three way, FRANCE, TURKEY, RUSSIA draw. Votes for this will be due with the spring 1907 orders.

We have two retreats due (see below), one for France and one for England. They will be due on Monday, November15, 17:00 MST. That being said, I think I mentioned that my internet will be a bit unpredictable for the next two weeks. I will attempt to keep the game going without any hiccups, but bear with me if I'm a bit slow. Someone else is away for a week between the 18th and 24th or thereabouts, so there won't be any deadlines within that time period.

Hi folks,

First thing, I received a proposal for a draw a few days ago that I promptly forgot to notify anyone about, so I'll do it now. There is a proposal for a two-way Russia/Turkey draw. It must be a unanimous decision and votes will be due with the fall 1906 orders.

Now on with the turn. Spring sees some changes, as two of England's units are forced to disband, and Italy makes a run for Iberia.... I think? Only the English units ran into any "problems" so there are no retreats due. On to fall, which will be due in one week, November 12 at 17:00 MST.

The turn:

--------------------

England:
A Edinburgh Hold
A Kiel - Holland (*Disbanded*)
F London - North Sea
F Skagerrak Supports F London - North Sea (*Disbanded*)

France:
A Belgium - Ruhr
A Brest Hold

A Munich - Kiel
F North Sea - Skagerrak
F Norway Supports F North Sea - Skagerrak

Hi folks,

Well, an extra day but I still don't have orders for Italy. As it is the first, the game will continue on. A second nmr on a major turn will result in replacement, or Italy in Civil Disorder.

Some of you may have noticed that the heading I put on the email for summer turn was incorrect. It said autumn instead of summer, and of course this is now the autumn turn. Just to keep things clear, it was my mistake and hopefully didn't confuse anyone too much.

That said, Italy and Russia have retreats, see below. They are due in 24 hours or so.

So here is the spring adjudication:

England:
F English Channel - London
A Holland - Kiel
F Skagerrak - Denmark (*Fails*)

A Silesia Supports A Berlin - Munich
A Ukraine - Rumania (*Fails*)

Turkey:

F Black Sea Supports A Rumania
A Budapest Supports A Vienna
A Bulgaria Supports A Rumania
F Eastern Mediterranean Supports F Greece - Ionian Sea
F Greece - Ionian Sea

RETREATS:

Italian F Ionian Sea can retreat to Albania or Apulia or Naples
           or Tunis.
Russian F Kiel can retreat to Berlin or Baltic Sea or Helgoland
           Bight.

Deadline for retreats will be tomorrow, October 27, 17:00 MDT.

There you have it. Maps are attached. See you tomorrow.
