Diplomacy - DC397 - GAME ON! - MagDox   (Oct 11, 2011, 4:09 am)
Hi Eric,

I've heard nothing from England (nor have any other players I've
contacted). Have you received preliminary orders from him? If not,
it might be worth delaying the start to find a replacement rather
than have England NMR right off the bat.

OK. It's official. Welcome to DC397 (exciting name, right?).
See the country assignments below.

If you aren't on the list, it means you aren't in this
game (and this is the last you'll hear from me). Please do
note however that there is a new standard game (re001) forming
up right behind this one, so no worries.

We'll be following the house rules, available here:

http://www.diplomaticcorp.com/info.php?type=houserules

If you're new to the game, I recommend realpolitik
(adjudication software, good for trying out tactics), which you
can download here:

http://www.diplomaticcorp.com/info.php?type=downloads

I must note that the guys playing France and Austria know
each other outside the game.

Please send it your orders (prelims) promptly. You can send
revisions to your orders all the way up until the deadline, and
if I slide on adjudicating - I will use your last set. Let's go
for zero NMRs!

I like a quick start. Orders for Spring 1901 must be in
by next Wednesday,9 PM.
Expect about a week per turn, Let
me know if you need an extension, or if you have any other
questions or concerns. I'm here to help you have a great game!

Blah blah blah. Let's do this thing!

Eric (your ever loving GM)

I have noticed that the website has not been updated yet, i was just wondering if it will be soon, or if anyone else had noticed. Sorry to bring it up, but it still says next orders due October 19

Sincerely,

James Mayfield
