Ok, well we have a yes vote on a three-way draw from all players, so I guess that wraps it up. Not the way I was hoping a game would end, but I guess sometimes life interferes.

So, the game ends in a draw between China, Holland and Russia. Congratulations all, and I'm sure I'll see all of you again.

Well, we have a first-time situation, and not in a pleasant way. Not one, but two NMRs. Hopefully, everything is okay and the lines of communication will be reopened for next spring.

One retreat this turn: British F Madras can retreat to Mysore or Hyderabad.

Deadline for this retreat is November 16th. If Britain responds before then and lets me know he's positive in the decision, I will go to Winter immediately.

Hi,

I want to offer a 3-way-draw China-Holland-Russia. We have so many NMR in this game. I think the big three will equalize themselves and nobody else has any chance (especially with NMR). So I think that is the best result for the game.

DC507 - Spring 1873 - Operations   (Nov 06, 2014, 7:50 pm)
The war against the Emperor of Japan continues, as the Russians make a full-court press against the Turks in the East. Canton becomes ground zero this spring in a fierce battle between the French and Chinese, but the Chinese emerge victorious in reclaiming their province.  Turkish F Constantinople can retreat to Angora, so ordered.
Chinese F East China Sea can retreat to Kyushu, so ordered.
Japanese F Otaru can retreat to Sakhalin, so ordered. British F Egypt can retreat to Syria or Mecca.  Deadline for Britain's retreat is November 8th. If the other powers would like to go OTB instead of retreating, they can also let me know during this time.

As the year draws to a close, the alliances are solidifying. Russia and China work to carve up Japan, while France and Holland work to whittle away at China. In the Balkans and Middle East, it's every man for himself. Time will tell if one more of the powers will start working together in this region as well. No retreat phase this turn, so can we go right to Winter!   Deadline for Winter is October 29th.  Builds/disbands are as follows: Britain:  6   (0)

Subject: DC507 - Spring 1872

Action in Southeast Asia... As the Chinese sweep downward into the French colonies, the Dutch fleet rises up to meet them. Will the French have an effect on this coming conflict, or will they just be caught in the middle? And once again, the telegraph lines are down in London,  but fortunately the Crown's holdings are untouched.  There are a few retreats this turn. Please bear in mind that the Russian army in Omsk is actually in Moscow, but I can't edit the map until the Summer is adjudicated.  French A Upper Burma can retreat to Mandalay or Rangoon
Japanese F Upper Pacific can retreat to Middle Pacific or Tokyo
Russian F Yellow Sea can retreat to Port Arthur, Fusan or Kyushu

DC507 - Autumn 1871 - Operations   (Oct 12, 2014, 4:24 pm)
Retreats are in! I am going to take this time to also address my initial welcome email giving my expectations for orders..  1.  Orders need to have game number, season, year, country.  2.  Orders need to be sent in a separate email, not just replying to one of my emails. This is the fair warning, there will be no more leeway on this, for anyone. Orders that don't follow these rules will be null and void. Period. And I won't remind you they were sent incorrectly, they will just be ignored, if they're not missed in the first place. With that said, here we go: Japan
F Kyoto - Upper Pacific Turkey
F Persia - Persian Gulf
Deadline for Winter is October 14th

DC507 - Fall 1871 - Operations   (Oct 10, 2014, 7:02 pm)
Sorry for the delay, been a very crazy week...  There are two retreats this turn: Japanese F Kyoto can retreat to Tokyo or Upper Pacific.
Turkish F Persia can retreat to Persian Gulf or OTB  Deadline for retreats is 10/12, then I'll do Winter immediately after. Given the delay in the adjudication, if Japan and Turkey let me know their choices are firm, we can do Winter before the 12th.
