DC196 Heroes and Villains - Spring 1905 - Da Vinci... - former.trout   (Oct 11, 2008, 8:32 am)
Let us not forget the lesson that we can learn from this - that man was not meant to tamper with the four basic food groups.

-----------------------------------

BAM! POW! ZANG! Italy storms their way back into Trieste, capitalizing on a slight miscue from their Austrian neighbours. Meanwhile Turkish fleets can be seen in the Ionian, German armies search for edelweiss in Tyrolia and bounces happen all around the board.

No retreats are required, although the Austrians do suffer a disband in Trieste. We'll march right on into Fall of 1905, with the order deadline set for Thursday, October 16th (11:59 PM GMT).

Just shout out if you spot a screw-up on my part. Cheers folks!

DC196 - 24 hour extension - former.trout   (Oct 10, 2008, 8:06 am)
Heya gang,

Sorry about not getting word about this out last night. A last-minute 24 hour extension was requested yesterday afternoon for DC-196. Unfortunately, I was already at a work function getting totally hammered and apparently telling my boss exactly what I thought of him. *sigh*

The good news is that I might have a lot more time to concentrate on Dip. I'll find out this morning. =) Meanwhile, DC-196 will be slightly pushed back to tonight - with the revised deadline for Friday, October 10th (11:59 PM GMT).

Cheers!

DC196 - 24 hour extension (dc196) former.trout Oct 17, 10:48 am
Heya folks,

One of our friendly troop requested a brief extension for the Fall 1905 turn. Since I've had net problems of my own this week I can definitely relate. Deadline will be pushed back until this evening (Friday, October 17th.)

Thanks everyone,

Trout
DC196 - Heroes And Villains - Spring 1905 Deadline... - former.trout   (Oct 09, 2008, 12:06 am)
Heya Heroes. How's it going, Villains?

Just a heads-up that your nefarious schemes and heroic escapades are due for Spring 1905 within the next 19 hours. Last one to turn them in has to wear the avocado-coloured cape and the rubber duck slippers... heh heh - it's always so hard to look evil wearing the rubber duckies...

Cheers!

Trout (who is NOT wearing the rubber duck slippers at the moment... REALLY.)

DC196 Heroes And Villains - Winter 1901 - The Chai... - former.trout   (Jul 20, 2008, 12:38 am)
Ah, savory cheese-puffs, made inedible by time and fate...

Heya folks,

Builds spring up across the board - new troops in the battle against super-villain injustice. Armies in Vienna, Munich, Trieste, Berlin, Moscow and Ankara march into the scene. Meanwhile, the seas get a little more crowded in Marseilles, Kiel, Naples and Constantinople.

We'll groove along into Spring 1902. Deadline will be set for Friday, July 25th (11:59 PM GMT).

Cheers everyone!

DC196 Heroes And Villains - Fall 1901 - The Idea M... - former.trout   (Jul 18, 2008, 12:43 am)
Ah ha-ha, diplomacy. The ancient contest of wits. Seven opponents: mano a mano. Braino a braino...

Yes, after that short delay we find ourselves battling for justice once again - with varied results across the board. France proves a deciding factor in prolonging the battle for Norway, Russia finds the door to Rumania closed, locked and walled up for good measure, and the new Kaiser powers the Wehrmacht to a 3-center gain. Definitely an interesting turn. =)

No retreats are required so we'll move directly into the Winter adjustments. Deadline for builds will be set for Saturday, July 19th (11:59 PM GMT). Please just let me know if you spot any error with this adjudication.

Cheers folks!
