*Little Change Across the Board!*
*Russia Loses St. Pete!*
*NO NMRS!*

Hey all,

Most of the seasons draws have been proposed, we've had an NMR that automatically disqualified the proposal (since NMR's are automatic no votes). This round we have a full set of orders, but all three draws fail. So that should tell you each draw was voted down by at least one player (though perhaps not the same player in each case). Regardless, this means the war continues on. More draws are proposed. The FA and the FIA are back on the table. Votes due with SPRING orders, since only france has a Winter build.

Now might be a good time to talk about the "No Substantial Change" rule in the Blitz. If the game is stalemated or nearly stalemated for 2 game years then the GM can declare a DIAS. It looks like we may possibly be heading into such a situation, so consider how the consequences of that will affect you. Assuming you don't want the "No Substantial Change" rule to take effect, there are at least three ways to stop it:

1) A center changes hands. This can not be two allied countries swapping centers to arbitrarily lengthen the game (though an actual stab by one or more would count).
2) A player writes to me explaining why the game he thinks the game is not stalemated or essentially stalemated.
3) Obviously, if an end game proposal passes beforehand, that would take precedence.

Technically, as the GM, i don't have to give you a warning about invoking the no substantial change ruling until 1 game year into it, but I see the game heading that direction, and I wanted to give you the heads up in advance. Assuming 1911 or 1912 don't see any center changes, the game would end after Fall 1912. If there is a center taken during that time, this either becomes moot or is pushed back till two years after the center is taken.

Hope that makes sense. I know I get kind of verbose in my explanations, but I want to make sure it is absolutely clear to everyone.

So remember: Vote on FA and FAI draw, and France gains one unit, so I need a build from him.

Thanks!!!

John
