I am only 10 SC's away from my solo in DC333 (ho ho ho) and will run a Stonehenge or Dark Ages game then, providing I can load all the software and so on.
Open games is looking sparse.

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to briefly introduce myself to the community. I am a recent college graduate, and an ex-punk who's become a yuppie (ahh, promotions...), as well as a lifelong board game aficionado. I have been long-interested in Diplomacy, and did once have an opportunity to play a full Face-to-Face game a couple years ago. I loved it. Now, with the time-consuming responsibilities of my work, I have little opportunity for my old all-night gaming sessions -- my friends have even less! I miss the excitement, thought, and stimulating strategy, and look forward to making friends, having fun, and honing my skills here.

| I'm not sure how much it has to do with Canada. People everywhere tend to cheer for the underdog. I don't think anyone views the U.S. as an underdog at anything, because of its global political and cultural domination. Match up poor little Ghana against big, rich America, and it's no contest, in my opinion. [Reply] |

| I just got done watching the U.S. - Ghana game in St. Catherine's, Ontario. In a bar filled with Canadians cheering for Ghana. WTF?!? I guarantee you this - if you went to a bar in America, and Canada was playing Ghana, you would not have seen that. I searched all over Ontario on my vacation looking for a single U.S. Men's National Team shirt - not one to be found, though you could get all the Greece, Mexico, France (out of the Cup), Italy (out of the Cup), and Russia (never in the Cup?!?) that you wanted.
