DC 217, Our number and a deadline - alwayshunted   (Oct 28, 2008, 11:18 pm)
Hello folks! Our game number is DC 217. Please use this in the subject line for all messages to me.

Our first deadline is one week from now, Tuesday, November 4 2008, 22:00 Mountain Time. That's November 5 at 0400 GMT. There's a time change from daylight savings coming up at some point..... not sure when, but don't worry, I won't let it mess anyone up.

If there is an nmr in the first year (spring or fall 1901) then the game will not be adjudicated and a replacement for the culprit will be sought immediately. The replacement will be given a chance to get involved in the game and submit orders for that turn. After that, an nmr will always stand as an nmr, and two in a row gets you kicked out.

I've attached the maps this time.... no really, they're there......

I appreciate people that send in preliminary orders. You can change your orders at any time up to the specified deadline, and in my case I'll accept them up to the moment that I open my mail account with the intention of adjudicating the turn. I may adjudicate early if and only if I receive ALL orders from all players CLEARLY MARKED AS FINAL ORDERS. So far it's only ever happened on a retreat phase.....

I think that's everything. Don't hesitate to ask me questions if you have them.

Cheers,

Warren

Hi all,

Just a quick note to inform you all that there was indeed a time change in my locale last Sunday morning, so we are now on Mountain Standard Time instead of Mountain Daylight Time. I am now GMT minus seven instead of minus six.

Basically it means that the deadline I have posted on the club site and in my original e-mail is out by an hour, so adjudication will occur at 0500 GMT on Wednesday (22:00 MST on Tuesday night). Shouldn't be a problem as it gives you all an extra hour.....

The adjudication should occur very shortly after the deadline for this turn, so get your orders in or make your last minute changes..... Seven hours to go.

Cheers,

Warren
