DC309 Summer 1905 results - blueinva   (Jun 30, 2010, 8:08 pm)
Thanks Mike. I am absolutely stoned right now...
Percocet and Methocarbomal - the other upside is that the agonizing pain in my
hip and back is a fuzzy memory.

Hey All,

Blue hurt himself and is drugged up. As a result he's asked for a delay. He
asked for 48 hours, but that would put the deadline on a Saturday, which I'd
like to avoid. Let's go with Monday July 5th at 9 pm.

Blue, recover quickly!

Best,

Mike

Guys,

Prognosis was worse that I thought - spent significant
amounts of the weekend in the ER and Urgent Care of my HMO. I have a herniated
l4-l5 disc in my spine. I have submitted orders for this turn, but due to the
likely course of treatment I will be undergoing I have to either offer my
resignation of my position (under the don't Dip drugged standard) or ask for at
a two week delay. I will understand if you need to replace me here, and
apologise for having held things up so much recently.

I hate to delay an already delayed game, but I'd rather finish with the same crew we started with. I'm willing to wait two weeks, if everyone else is.

Hi guys,
Regardless, I'm going to adjudicate the turn tomorrow at 9 (no receipt = no orders received). I'd like to see what people want to do moving forward. Delay two weeks after tomorrow's adjudication, or seek a replacement.
Let me know in the next couple of days. If we need a replacement, best to start looking. If not that's cool too in my books.
Best,
Mike

While from a tactical standpoint I should probably push for a replacement, I'd really like for Sean to finish it out too. I'm fine taking it at a leisurely pace for a while. With the DC Blitz just finishing for me, I'm in no hurry for short deadlines for a while. Smile

Waiting is fine by me. Still in my WB game.

Or I can just submit orders for Sean.  Either one.

Aw hell, guys. I'm almost out - I could take Sean's place. I promise I won't let my personal views skew the game (too much). Wink But really, I'm perfectly good waiting or replacing, either way suits me.

I gave a 24 hour extension by player request. I may extend this to 48 if 24
hours isn't enough. If you know you'll need more time (wasn't the case this
tome), please give me as much notice as you can. I know it's summer and people
are going to be away, but let's try and keep things moving...

DC309 Winter 1904 delay - mtombu   (Jun 06, 2010, 10:02 am)
Hey All,

In the hecticness of the move, I forgot to adjudicate Winter. I'll do so tomorrow at 9 pm. I've had spotty internet access, so if you sent me adjustments (AI)  and I did not confirm them, please resend. Also, I'm going to push Spring 1905 til the 16th.

Sorry for the delays. Marrying/moving took more energy than expected.

Best,

Mike
