..
Still, there's plenty of time for escalation.

England, your fleet in Norway may retreat or disband.
Please send orders for what to do with it by the 6th of September, 21:00, or it will be auto-disbanded.

DC 336 Spring '01 - mgsmuhammad   (Aug 06, 2010, 2:44 am)
Having found Russia's orders, and seeing that he actually sent them on Sunday, i've updated the adjudication and map accordingly.

There should be no need for a restart.

Here's the new adjudication:

Austria:
A Vie to Gal *bounce*
F Tri Holds
A Bud to Ser

England:
F Edi to NTH
F Lon to ENG *bounce*
A Lpl to Wal

France:

Russia:
A Mos to StP
F StP to GoB
F Sev to BLA *bounce*
A War to Gal *bounce*

Turkey:
A Con mov Bul
F Ank mov BLA *bounce*
A Smy mov Arm

...
Now to see if I can wash off the shame of my monumental cock-up.

Next adjudication will be at 21:00 of the 12th. Hopefully I can redeem myself then.

All-

I would like to make a proposal. As you
all see, Russia NMRed on this first turn. However, if it is at all possible, I
believe that we should restart the game. My reasoning is
this:

Initially, we were told that the deadline was on August 8th.
Today is August 5th. This morning, I received an email from the Stuart (the
GM) saying I had less than 12 hours to submit my moves. Russia also received
this message. It is entirely possible that Russia hasn't had a chance to log
in to his email today and simply did not receive the warning. It is possible
he thought that the deadline was still 3 days away. Having received messages
from him in the past, I know he is active and playing. It would be wrong to
screw him over so badly simply because of a mistake on the deadline on the
part of the GM. Therefore, I propose we start over and redo the first turn. If
necessary we can reallocate the countries, but that might just be too much of
a hassle.

Stuart, is this possible?

Sincerely,

Rob
Draniczarek

Thanks for this, but as I already said in the previous mail, the
GM had my prelims, so he had no reason not to execute my orders.

I always send in prelims just in case so my units do something.

Hullo!

Having got the allocation of powers sorted, let's get cracking, shall we?

The first deadline for orders shall be at 21:00 (GMT) on the 8th of July.

Please, insert "DC 336 (your power) Orders (current in-game date)" when delivering orders.

e.g. "DC 336 Turkey Orders Spring '01"

I'll accept changes to standing orders right up until the deadline.

Then your most recent set is taken as your final orders and used for the update.

Have fun getting to know the gullibility of each other until then.
