DC352 - Fall 1904 Results - Ivo   (Feb 04, 2011, 12:42 am)
There us brilliant coordination actually. E/F/R have been openly
trying to kill G for some time regardless of other events, so G
decided that he is not prepared to die for them in order to fight A/I.
It's my first PBEM game, so maybe I'm missing something... am I
expected to be fighting the leader even if the other smaller nation
are trying to kill me? Smile

Yeah so we are clear - E/F/R aren't coordinating anything of the sort. Yes, I think you are missing something - you email back when you are the guy getting pounded. Further, you email begging and pleading for help; you clamor about the evil two-headed giant to the south, you whine about being attacked, you threaten to throw centers away to the encroaching two-way. You did none of that. Heck you never even managed to try to defend your own centers from them but did still try to take English centers?

Russia tried to coordinate a 4-way defense. I responded to Russia (without copying the rest) that I would only do so when I saw that either of you responded (he can confirm this). I have even tried to break up Austria and Italy although they clearly are having none of it (I guess nobody wants to solo...sigh).

So I stand by my request - let's vote to end this and save us time and them effort.

Chill dude, I didn't know I was supposed to whine, and you're doing
enough for both of us.
If you didn't want to lose you should have done something. I'm nor
going to beg and agrue with the three of you if you can't see the map.
You'll lose this one and next game you'll know better. To keep
attacking me was plain stupid, it left me with the only choice to
kamikaze in order to increase my importance.
I didn't expect this to lead to the game ending, I'm used to playing
until the end at the site I usually play Diplomacy at, so I was
expecting messages from E/F finally offering peace, instead I get a
petulent public rant...
Guess you think you're the center of the universe and everyone owes
you some special attention...

So do we just go ahead and vote now for the two-way? Seriously. Unless someone is open to something changing, aren't we really just wasting precious time that we could use on other games?

DC352 - Need a new France - TrustMe   (Jan 18, 2011, 9:01 am)
Hey guys:

Just wanted to let you know that France has resigned. I will be looking for a replacement and will have the game paused until one is found.

Also, a couple of you pointed out, that my link in the last email was incorrect. Sorry about that. Here is the corrected link:

http://www.diplomaticcorp.com/hgames/dc352031.gif

I am no longer attaching files because when I copy the forum and I have an attachment, it doesn't post correctly. But links work fine.

Also, I will be sending out the RealPolitik file shortly. It should allow you to follow along and see prior moves. A link to the RealPolitik application is here:

Let me know if you have any questions.

Yours,
TrustMe

I just noticed a bigger problem with these. The program I am using auto-disbanded Turkey's unit in Bulgaria which gives Turkey a build! I am really sorry about that. I will be holding the deadline until I get a build order from Turkey since it was my mistake.
