Austria reflects between a new army in Vie or nothing while Turkey goes with the default rule (not an NMR).  Here is the order for those who don't want to check yourselves.

DC404 1907 Fall results - RickHunter   (Mar 30, 2012, 7:16 pm)
Another interesting year.  I do not see orders from England; the Prime Minister probably wishes he just sent in the same ones as last time.  A quick reminder to have prelims for Spring/Fall is a good habit.

The Germans finally land in York on a Russian convoy.  Piedmont still is at peace as France and Italy have other fish to fry.  The Turks take Arm, but without the offered Russian assistance.  Meanwhile, Italy lands in Syr.  The Turkish forces in the Balkans are dealt another setback by Austria.

One retreat (1907 Autumn) is required by Monday, 4/02 5pm ET.

Turkey - A Rum can retreat to Gal or OTB.

Builds/Retreats (1907 Winter) will be due Tuesday, 4/03 5pm ET.

Well, we have two very distinct theaters in this conflict.

Men of the West: France take Eng and Bur while Russia takes Bar.  Everyone else bounces around, some by choice.  Will combats be positioned if hostilities end in the east?

Eastern hoards rush Turkey, who apparently has read this book and swaps one SC for another while going 3-on-1.  Will AIR hold together or do other opportunities seem more profitable?

We really see some action this Fall.  The North Sea sees the white fleet ride the waves but Britannia rules up north.  France takes Belgium, Germans still on the border.  Russia regain control of Sevastopol again while Austrian and Italian armies go poof in the night.  Due to several disbands and SCs changing hands we will have a significant Winter on 3/20 but we must have the English retreat first.

Autumn Retreats due 3/19 at 5pm ET.  If you send in FINAL, I'll send out early.

The Sultan is nowhere to be found!  Turkish troops receive no orders and multiple enemies take advantage.  Italy lands in Syr, Austria takes Ser, and Russia takes Sev.  Meanwhile, in the west, the English regains the North Sea while units bounce everywhere.

Eric - please send in your retreats by 3/12 5pm ET.  A failure to send in orders would result in both being disbanded.

A Sev can retreat to Arm, Rum, OTB

A Ser can retreat Alb or OTB

Another fine move.  Thank you all for getting orders in.  Nwg has fallen to the new Russian fleet but England gains a new unit Bel final falls to the English/French attack.  Nth is open - who will take advantage?  Austria holds onto Rum and also gains a new unit.  Turkey refuses to lose a territory and merely holds onto Sev in exchange.  Meanwhile, the Italian navy meet up.  Retreat is due Monday  3/05 5pm ET and Builds/Removes are due Tuesday 3/06 ET.  You may send in conditional builds/removes if you so choose for a Monday posting.  As usual, please check for errors on my part.

Another great NMR-free round.  Thank you all.  Okay, a reminder that it is labelled Rumania, not Romania.  Please be careful as Rum and Rom (Rome) are not interchangable and can result in a misorder.  Sorry to be picky, I just want to avoid potential errors later.

Rum and Sev get new occupants with massive support but none was needed.  Meanwhile Italy slips into the east.

I truly expected to see movement in the west this turn and saw it but several sets of orders later...and the only movement is Russia's Stp-Bar.

Sev is are only retreat to only only one location so I have ordered A Sevastopol - Moscow.  Russia may also choose OTB by Monday, 2/27 5pm ET.

Next turn is March 2nd at 5pm ET (22:00 GMT).

Mike

Any update on Italy  ?  I haven't been corresponding with other players pending the  future of the Italian leader and the fact that you did not provide a deadline for next season orders.

After an extended hiatus, we're off.  Well mostly.  Italy fails to issue orders.  Please check your moves carefully as I have received multiple orders from most and I wouldn't be surprised if I made a mistake.

The Bur/Bel/Nth stalemate line continues.  Austria retakes Tri while Russia turns southeast.  Super interesting board with a lot of alliance/stab option available.

I'm retreated Tri-Trl as the only option.  Italy, if you prefer OTB or wish to quit this turn, please inform me by Wednesday 2/08 by 5pm.

DC404 Austria Replacement - RickHunter   (Jan 26, 2012, 11:39 am)
Everyone please welcome Hamish Williams AKA chota_catsfather to DC404 as our Austrian replacement.  We will have our next move 2/06/12 at 5pm ET (22:00:00 GMT) in order to give the new Archduke a chance to get strategies and tactics in place.  However, if he is ready to move before then, I will give a 24 hour warning before resuming play (but no sooner than our normal Monday adjudication).

As a reminder, please feel to send in as many orders as you need.  If I have 7 orders marked FINAL I will proceed.  You may send an updated FINAL but by sending FINAL you agree to early adjudication at any time.

DC404 1903 Winter Builds - RickHunter   (Jan 25, 2012, 9:31 pm)
OK, here are the build orders.  I will post for a replacement player, although getting an Austria prior to this turn would've been easier.  I am setting the next turn for Monday February 6th in hopes to give a new player time to dip with others.  If we find someone willing to go before then, I will update the group.

I'm sorry to hear that David. No need to apologize, I think we all understand the stress this has caused. I'll battle you again someday, untill then, take care of yourself and your family. I wish you all a quick recovery.
