Dc 449: Game Start - AlanRFarrington   (Feb 12, 2013, 7:01 pm)
Hi all,

After about an extra week we're finally ready to get off the ground with Dc 449.   Please see my notes below (under house rules) about the grace period I offer.

Deadline
Spring 1901 will be due Friday, February 22nd at Midnight GMT (7:00pm EST)

Player List & Country Assignments
I was able to get 5 players their top preferences - everyone got one of their top 3 picks.  Hope everyone is reasonably happy.

House Rules:
I found a copy of my house rules on the dip website -- they're pretty outdated with how I run my games, and I'm not sure how to update them.  I've never had to go to them yet though so I wouldn't get too strung up about them.  The main thing that I do for players is I allow 1 grace period.  If come adjudication time i don't have your orders I usually give an hour or so to get them in, and if I don't have them I'll give you an extra 24 hours to get your moves in and avoid an NMR.  (Anyone may change their orders during this time up to the adjudication).
I'll do everything in my power to avoid NMRs -- Please use preliminary orders and feel free to ask for deadline extensions if you need them.

Cheers,
Alan Farrington
