Lyrics are fairly appropriate - I'm falling asleep as I'm typing this.. =)
England is the rock in the Scandinavias, throwing back everything Russia can lob at him. Meanwhile Germany's defensive lines cave, Italy regains Naples and Russia moves to claim Rumania. Theres blood in the water after the Spring moves - three automatic disbands are the result. Kiel, Naples and Tuscany are all erased from the board.

Furthermore, thanks to the player who has pointed this out. The English attack on Kiel actually bounced 3:3. The maps are correct but the written adjudication is in error. I will fix this up and resend the adjudication later today.

We're back on track and thanks everyone for the patience. Things stay pretty static in the south with the exception of the Constantinople hotseat. In the north, more movement can be seen as Russia walks back into Sweden after England vacates in favour of Denmark. With those notable movements however, we can safely say that the word of the day is 'BOUNCE'...
Two retreats to take care of, one of which I already have prelims in hand for. The Russian army in Constantinople can retreat to Ankara or OTB, and the German fleet in Denmark can relocate to Helgoland Bight, Baltic Sea or OTB. I've set the deadline for Early Winter 1903 retreats at Saturday, December 22nd (11:59 PM GMT). After that, we'll all break for a few days to gobble down some Turkey and enjoy our visit from the jolly old elf. Winter 1903 will be scheduled for a weeks time: Thursday, December 27th (11:59 PM GMT).

Hi guys,
Thanks to those players who caught me on this. Control of Constantinople remains in Turkish hands, so he does not gain a build for recovering it. Nor does Russia have to disband as a result.
In addition, Russia can choose to retreat to the Black Sea if he so chooses.
Good grief. Think that's everything. Good thing I only hit the hard stuff when I'm doing these adjudications and keep myself away from the beer. =)

Rough turn for Italy as France, Austria and Turkey play dog-pile. Meanwhile, Austria gets some of the same treatment as the Cossacks power their way into Budapest. And in the north, England takes Sweden, but finds themselves facing white fleets in the Barents Sea. Interesting turn indeed.. =)
Four retreats are required after the Spring moves: two from Italy, one from Russia and one from Austria. I've set the deadline for Summer 1904 orders for Friday, January 4th (11:59 PM GMT).
Please just let me know if you spot any errors. As well, for those who note these types of things, all of our previous subject headers came from song titles from Radiohead's latest album 'In Rainbows'. (And yes, that CD is absolutely what this game is named after...) Unfortunately with our last Winter turn, the last song title was spun out. My apologies - It appears that I've given two different deadlines for the Summer 1904 retreats. I'll split the difference and say that the deadline will be Saturday, January 5th. However, if I receive all 4 in by this evening, I will adjudicate early.

Rough turn for Italy as France, Austria and Turkey play dog-pile. Meanwhile, Austria gets some of the same treatment as the Cossacks power their way into Budapest. And in the north, England takes Sweden, but finds themselves facing white fleets in the Barents Sea. Interesting turn indeed.. =)
Four retreats are required after the Spring moves: two from Italy, one from Russia and one from Austria. I've set the deadline for Summer 1904 orders for Friday, January 4th (11:59 PM GMT).
Please just let me know if you spot any errors. As well, for those who note these types of things, all of our previous subject headers came from song titles from Radiohead's latest album 'In Rainbows'. (And yes, that CD is absolutely what this game is named after...) Unfortunately with our last Winter turn, the last song title was spun out. So I've thrown a new CD into the drive and have started a fresh round of subject headers with it. =)

No sitting down on the job around here this Summer. All retreating powers stand up and are accounted for. Italy marches off to Apulia and makes port in Tuscany, Russia chills out in Finland and Austria heads out for Trieste.
