PREV  Fall 951 Adjudication:  NEXT

BIG surprise: only one season after the wars have started, the armies of Burgundy are holding at their locations for lack of orders from their leader. Thus the Eastern Roman Empire see their support of the fleet in the Ligurian Sea go to waste (which would have been cut anyway due to the attack on the Tyrrhenian Sea by the Arab Caliphates).

The Arab Caliphates seem to have no fear but risk ending up with no friends either and are likely to be in for a hard time. They saw their supported attack of Tarsus fail as well as their strikes at Eastern Roman Empire's Syracuse and Tyrrhenian Sea; it also seems like they had a change of mind on the role of France considering the fights over Burgos and Segovia.

Danmark and Sverige seem to be testing eachother's defensive capabilities but without much change.

Norge and the Slavic Nations see all their orders complete successfully;

... and thus passes Fall 951.

These are the orders received and their results:

One retreat is due for the French Army in Hamburg. It can retreat to Hedeby (HED) or Oldeburg (OLD).

Deadline for the retreat is Thursday Aug 7, 23:59 GMT.

*** Lee : please contact me asap about the NMR.
If I don't hear from you by this Sunday, I will have to start looking for a replacement. And bear in mind: two consecutive seasons with a NMR results in an Abandon.

Note that Jackson Foster (Danmark) is on vacation from Aug 5 - 13.
Therefor the deadline for Winter builds/disbands has been set to Thu Aug 14, 23:00 GMT.
Details will come with the announcement of the retreat.

A note on the maps attached: I tweaked the colors of Sverige and Slavic Nations so they contrast more with their background; especially for the arrows indicating the orders. To me it is a big improvement. Hope you like it too.

Frank
