Roha is the historical name for the area now known as Lalibela. The Ethiopian Orthodox Christians attempted to "recreate" some of the wonders of Yerushalayim after its fall to the Muslims, the most notable of which are the rock-hewn churches (seen in the attached pics). While not nearly as dramatic or massive as Petra in Jordan, the sites at Lalibela make up for this in quantity, as there are several such sites as Bete Giyorgis (pictured).

Wikipedia has a wealth of info and pics for those wishing to dig a little deeper - those wishing to see these beautiful sites in person will also find Ethiopia a warm, friendly land, filled with excellent local-grown coffee and shops where your dollar (or Euro, or Pound, whatever) will go a long way.
