PREV Spring 912 Adjudication: NEXT

DC229: The Spring 912 season has been adjudicated. If you were not already aware, there has been an article published in DipWorld about our game, with commentary from Jim Burgess, Rick Desper, and Suzanne Castagne. It's a great read, and interesting to read in hindsight especially.

In the East, Arabia had a nice season, as Matt managed to hold off his various enemies while re-gaining Ujjain in a complicated tactical maneuver. The key to this success was Axum's support, and Axum pulled off another coup by landing an army in Phebol on the isle of Madagasar. In the Eastern Med, West Frankish fleets
have finally broken through the Byzantine defenses to cross the
critical Tyrrhenian Sea chokepoint. Staying in Eastern Europe, the Germans followed
their long-delayed advance last fall with another advance in spring,
capturing Kiev from the Kievan Russians.

Nigel (our West Frankish player) will be away on holiday for two weeks starting on Saturday July 25th, and will have limited or no e-mail access. For now, I'm assuming that we will take a two week hiatus at that time. If so, then our schedule will be as follows:

912 Spring Retreat - Monday July 20th
912 Fall - Thursday July 23rd
912 Fall Retreat - Friday July 24th
912 Winter - Monday Aug 3rd
913 Spring - Thu Aug 6th

I won't be around this weekend, and so I won't be able to adjudicate the retreat until Monday. Sorry about that. Before the adjudication, we have some anonymous press, and also be sure to look for the creative order sets from Axum and Denmark.
