| DC172 Delay Due To Flu - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
Heya folks,
Apologies for the delayed adjudication of DC-172. It was due out last night, but unfortunately your GM is sick as a dog and won't be able to get it out until probably tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully this won't put me in the doghouse.. =P
However, this gives the two of you who have not sent in yay or nay votes for the proposed draw enough time to send your preferences in. Remember - democracy is a beautiful thing. =)
Cheers!

| Dc181 Spring 1906 - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
Dc181 Spring 1906
PRESS from England
Although the Queen was in favor of a Solo, her Cabinet voted it down.
So England votes in favor of either Draw proposal.
The Austria - Italy draw proposal was unsuccessful.
The Austria - Germnay draw proposal was voted down.
The Austria - Germany - Italy draw proposal was passed.
YES - against seemingly all odds, this game is now at an end.
Personally from a GMing perspective, I am glad that I did not have to replace David (Italy) in this game and it seemed nice that Eric (France) and Frank (England) survived (even if Frank did make fun of my laptop issues).
I am sure everyone will appreciate some end of game statements especialyl considering the number of draw proposals that failed. I'm also surprised that Austria did not push the game a little further so would like to know Kev's thoughts on that.
Feel free to send end of game statements to this thread as well as dc181(at)diplomaticcorp.com (dc181(at)diplomaticcorp.com)
It was a pleasure finishing this game off for Doug.

Steve,
thanks for doing a great job at GMing this game. Despite all the Internet issues.
Glad that my suffering has come to an end.
Kind of funny that the game ends right after Italy returned to it. Is there a link?
Yes, I will definitely send in my end of game statements.
Lots of loose ends to tie up.
Everyone, thanks for a nice game. Nice, not great. Great would have been my Solo, but as you could read the Queen voted it down.
Frank

Just use your teeth.
Eeh, do penguins actually have teeth?
Need to see that documentary again. What's its name again? O yeah, Happy Feet!

I blame it on the fact that Penguins don't have fingers... Only flippers.
Try plugging in an ethernet cable without opposable thumbs... Okay - plugging in is easy - but now try taking it out.. =P

Easy for you to say it's the laptop.
Anyone speaking up on behalf of the laptop? Bet that, if he could, he'd blame it on the user.

[quote:8b5d70d6e9] Sorry everyone for the delay
The good news is that I've narrowed down the problem of my constant internet access issues.
The bad news is that it's my laptop!
anyway I'm back online now so Dc199 and Dc181 will be out within the hour.
