I fully understand the frustration. Unfortunately, my computer has not been up and running for a while now and all the communication I've been able to do is from a different computer. To tell the truth, I've been disappointed in how this game has gone as well, but it is what it is. There's no willingness on my part to throw in the towel. That wouldn't do the game justice. I'm committed to finishing the game, it just a matter of getting access to my computer so I can make the maps. I'll try to give more frequent updates from here on in.

Hey guys... many apologies for the extremely lengthy delay. I have been significantly under the weather for the past two weeks and I just wasn't able to handle the necessary concentration for adjudicating. On top of everything else, I wasn't the sickest in my house as we've experienced everything including pneumonia, H1N1, and some form of heart failure, none of which was me. Hey guys... sorry for the extended silence. Here's what happened. One of our players suffered from a broken computer screen and then by the time those orders came in, I was out for three days getting some training for my job and rather without internet access. Now, I'm back... I've got everyone's orders (the proposal failed, BTW) and I'll get those out as soon as I can. Also, once this season is finished, I'll be looking for a new Italy player, so it may be some time before we really get going again. Thanks for your patience.

Wow. Guys, this one was interesting. In particular, take a look at the goings on around Trieste. Just for the record, if anyone is wondering, that situation is covered by Diagram 26 on Page 14 of the rules. I looked it up just to make sure I was getting it right.
On another note, the taking of Denmark by Russia means Germany no longer has any units. As he still controls that supply centre, he is included in EOG proposals until this winter. Barring that, thanks for playing and especially thanks for holding out until the end.
We have no retreats necessary, so we'll move straight into the Fall phase.

England wishes to make it clear that it neither proposed, approved of or knew anything about the EOG proposal below for a solo English victory until the Prime Minister read about it below for the first time.
As such, England waives all its confidentiality privileges with the GM so that the latter might confirm that this is indeed the case with the other nations of Europe. Mr GM, please note that I am not asking you to disclose who the proposal did come from as I don’t imagine you would do so anyway, but simply to confirm that it did not come from me.

Hey everyone. As you may have noticed, there's been some talk of trying to speed up the game. Here is how I propose we do this: I will set the deadlines in the same fashion as before, but you are strongly encouraged to submit orders in advance of that deadline. Once I have orders from everyone, I will send out an email that will give everyone 24 hours to revise and then I will adjudicate, if I can. To speed up the game we do, of course, need everyone on board, because I need to get orders from everyone.
If you would like to play quicker games, keep your eye out for the Winter Blitz tournament which will likely start in January. A full year is played in one week and the gm waits for no one (if orders aren't in, they adjudicate anyway).
That being said, please get those orders in on time (or early would be even better).
