DC287 - Autumn 2005 - Viper   (Jun 21, 2010, 10:34 pm)
So, we have a very uneventful autumn season, as China decides to take F Taipei off the board.  Therefore, the map need not change, other than to fix the two mistakes I found: the first was that F Paris - Spain should not have worked and the second was that I neglected to move A Nizhniy-Novgorod to Astana.  Those two things have been corrected on this map.  Thus, we are ready to move on to the Winter of 2005, during which we will officially say farewell to the Amazon.

Stats:
Quebec has 12 sc's - 11 units = 1 build.
Mexico has 4 sc's - 5 units = 1 disband.
Amazon has 0 sc's - 0 units = eliminated.
Russia has 14 sc's - 12 units = 2 builds.
Sahara has 2 sc's - 4 units = 2 disbands.

Congo has 16 sc's - 12 units = 4 builds.
Persia has 8 sc's - 8 units = no adjustment necessary.
China has 2 sc's - 2 units = no adjustment necessary.
Oceania has 12 sc's - 10 units = 2 builds

Next Deadline:
Winter 2005 adjustments are due on Wednesday, June 23, at 1pm CDT.

gah!  Who told me that Rome borders Spain?  Lies!  Paris does not move to Spain, but bounces with Casablanca.  I will not have the ability to make a new map until tomorrow, so that'll probably come with the retreat.  But keep that in mind as you think about your builds/disbands.

Well, I suppose we will have an extension, then.  It would be nice to know about the needs for these things before they happen... next time.  I am also going to be gone from Monday until Friday next week, so the earliest I can adjudicate would be Friday evening.  So, we'll set the deadline for Friday, June 11, 1pm CDT and I'll adjudicate as soon as I can get to it.

DC287 - Winter 2004 - Viper   (Jun 01, 2010, 12:25 am)
Of course, by "May" I meant "June."  The next deadline did not happen in the past.

OK, so here are everyone's adjustments for Winter 2004.  Now, I had to make a call on which happens first between building and trading home centres.  I went with the builds/disbands happening first, so that's why you can see Russia having built in Helsinki and then the star moves into Europe.  Note that the other European stars have disappeared.

Quebec:
Build A Havana
Build F Halifax

Mexico:
Disband A Mexico City

Amazon:
Disband F Gulf of Guinea

Russia:
Build F Oslo
Build A Helsinki

Sahara:
Build F Casablanca

Congo:
Build F Kinshasa

Persia:

No Adjustment Needed

China:
Disband F Jayapura
Disband F East China Sea
Disband F Sea of Japan

Oceania:
Build F Sydney

Note: Russia trades his home centres Nizhniy-Novgorod and Helsinki for the formerly European home centres Paris and Zagreb.

Next Deadline:
Spring 2005 deadline will be Friday, May 4, at 1pm CDT.  After that we'll have to take a little while off because I'll be away from home again (this time in Hamilton).

DC287 - Autumn 2004 - Viper   (May 28, 2010, 10:50 pm)
Something I forgot to mention... since Europe has been eliminated, those who control his starting five centres have the option of trading as many of their original building spots (the ones with stars) for the same number of his.  So, Russia could trade as many as four and Sahara one.  This winter turn is the only time you would have this option, however, as those stars will be removed from the map.  If you wish to do that, submit it with your adjustments.
