(DC 326) Gumball - Spring 1914 Results ** CORRECT... - Corrino   (Nov 10, 2010, 9:58 pm)
Hi Gang!

GM's mistake.  Russia actually ordered A Sevastopol to Rumania, not Ukraine.  The new result is a bounce with A Ukraine in Rumania and new ending positions for those two armies.

See highlighted changes to orders below.  No other changes to results.

Corrected map is attached.

Game page on DC will be corrected without notation.  No need to advertise my goof to the world, is there?  Smile

Cheers,
Chris

"Hey, Rocky!  Watch me pull a rabbit out a hat!"
"Again?  That trick never works."
"Nothing up my sleeve... Presto!"
"ROAR!"
"Guess I don't know my own strength."

Tonight's episode:  "Last
Supper for a Sultan?" or "The Scottish Surprise!"

Brought to you by:  "Corrino Crunch.  Just one bowl gives you all the energy and support
you need to invade Rumania, convoy to Tunis, and bounce the Brits in Belgium.  That's Corrino Crunch!  Part of this duplicitous breakfast!"

Let us rejoin our multi-threaded story, already in progress...

. Green grows the grass in Constantinople and Smyrna, as the moisture-rich conquerors from the west push back the Ottoman sands.  With a third fleet now on the scene, the long-standing naval void in the Black Sea may soon be coming to an end.

. Ring around the red roses for the Archduke.  Isn't that a pretty circle?  Well, come to think of it, the loop is broken.  How about retreating to Trieste and Adriatic in the Fall?  Aesthetics demand it!

. Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids.  At least, not if you're Italian.  "Au revoir," say the Frenchies.  "Don't let la porte smack you in the derriere on the way out!"

. "For Pete's sake, who left this dot
lying around unattended?" asks the Tsar.  It would appear that the time-honored concept of Finder's Keepers applies even in the realm of Realpolitik.

. And our final scene, in which the plucky underdog picks himself up off the ground and bloodies the nose of the neighborhood bully.  In a feat of prescience which I have to say ranks WAY up there in my experience of gunboat diplomacy, the English King chose to have both of his units support the Italian attack on Clyde, thus creating a 3-on-2 battle in favor of Italy, and DESTROYING the invading German fleet!

I admit I shook my head when I first saw the English orders.  Wouldn't the smart (safe!) thing be to support Edi?  A tip of this GM's cap to you, Your Highness.  Well done!

RETREATS:  Italian fleet Marseilles has been auto-retreated to Gulf of Lyon, its only legal move.  The Italian leader has 24 hours to notify me if he wishes to disband the
unit rather than retreat it.

DEADLINE:  Fall 1914 orders are due next Wednesday, November 17, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern US time.  Don't delay!  Order today!

Cheers,
Chris

(DC 326) Gumball - Winter 1913 Results - Corrino   (Nov 04, 2010, 6:55 pm)
Hi Gumballers,

Thanks to Germany and England for getting their orders in promptly.  Germany asked me to pass on an apology to the group.

"Sorry, everyone.  I've been ill, but that's no excuse -- obviously I
could have found five minutes somewhere.  Just kinda lost interest in
everything the last week.  Hate to negatively impact a game that way,
and it will not happen again this game."

On behalf of the group, I accept your apology, Herr Kaiser.  I'd also like to remind everyone that if something does come up, you can always ask for an extension.  They are virtually automatic.

Winter Adjustments:

England:
Build A Liverpool

Germany:
Remove A St Petersburg

NEXT DEADLINE:  Spring 1914 orders are due Wednesday, November 10, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time.

Have a good week-end!

Chris

(DC 326) Gumball - Fall 1913 Results - Corrino   (Nov 03, 2010, 9:22 pm)
Hi Players,

Well, just when you think you know what's going to happen, we have a turn like this.  Welcome to lucky Year 13!

I thought I was going to be announcing the first elimination of the game.  I thought England was a goner.  I thought wrong.

Germany NMR's for the second (or is third?) time, and instead of being eliminated, England actually grows back up to two units!  I guess the Kaiser is just uncomfortable with success.  I don't know what else to say.

Other highlights of the year include

. Italy and France swap dots.  Brest returns to the French, but Marseilles falls to the Italians.  How about that French army in Piedmont?  That could prove interesting.

. The apathetic German fleet holds on to MAO,
thanks to support from his French friends.  Can he count on that support again?

. Austria forces his way into the Ukraine, leaving Rumania open behind him, while Russia focuses on covering his dots.  I predict another round of guessing games on that front next year.

. The Sultan continues his favorite sport:  Smyrna Bouncing!  I wonder if one of these days the Italian fleet might not just duck?

RETREATS:  None.

ADJUSTMENTS:  Germany must remove 1.  England may build 1.  Everybody else is doing the status quo thing.

DEADLINE:  Adjustment orders are due by Friday, November 5, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time.  If I get them in tomorrow I'll adjudicate early.  If I fail to receive an adjustment from Germany then the unit furthest from home is automatically disbanded.

Germany is now officially on probation.  I need to see orders for Spring 1914 well in
advance or I will seek a replacement.

Cheers,
Chris

(DC 326) Gumball - Summer 1913 Retreats - Corrino   (Oct 30, 2010, 7:39 pm)
Hi Gang,

Sorry I'm late.  Yesterday was daughter #2's birthday and I completely forgot I owed you something.  Thanks to the player who reminded me, and please, if I'm ever more than a few hours late, feel free to shoot me a message.  You know that if I know I'm going to miss I'll send you a notice, so if I'm quiet it probably means I got distracted and it slipped my mind.

Anyway, Italy did submit a retreat order, and Russia did not rescind the auto-retreat, so we have:

Italy:
F Mid-Atlantic Ocean - North Atlantic Ocean

Russia:
A Galicia - Ukraine

New map is attached.

Deadline for Fall 1913 is as usual:  Wednesday, November 3, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Players,

Not feeling very clever this evening.  It has been/is still a long week for me.  How about I just stick to the facts for a change?

The AFG Draw Proposal FAILS, with 5 YEA votes and 2 NAY votes.  I won't tell you how each nation voted, but feel free to speculate.  It is part of the fun.

ACTION:
Some.  No dots changed hands, but there was some maneuvering.  See orders & results below.

RETREATS:
Russian A Galicia auto-retreated to Ukraine.  The Tsar may choose to retreat OTB instead.  Let me know.
Italian F Mid-Atlantic Ocean can retreat to North Atlantic Ocean or Brest or OTB.

NEXT DEADLINE:  Italian retreat is due Friday, October 29, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern US time.  If no retreat is
received, the unit will be disbanded.

Cheers,
Chris

(DC 326) Gumball - Spring 1913 Results DELAYED - Corrino   (Oct 26, 2010, 5:59 pm)
Hi Players,

Thanks fto those who submitted orders today, but we still only made it to 5 out of 7 sets of orders.  As you know, I'm not shy about issuing NMR's, but given the day-early deadline AND the fact that the departure time for my trip got moved from 8:30 to 7:30, I'm going to have call for a delay.  Therefore, I am officially postponing the deadline for two days.

NEW DEADLINE:  Thursday, October 28, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.  If your orders are already in and you want to change them, that's fine.  If you want to change your vote (or you forgot to vote!) you can still submit that, too.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Players,

Thanks to all for getting their retreats and adjustments in today.  Much appreciated by your too-busy GM.

We have something new and different for you this time, an End Game Proposal (EGP).   The proposal is for a Three-way draw between Austria, France and Germany.  Please vote either YES or NO on the Draw when you submit your Spring orders.  All seven players must vote YES in order for the draw vote to pass.  Abstentions (i.e. failure to vote) are counted as NO votes.

RETREATS:
Russia:
A Rumania disbands in lieu of retreating

ADJUSTMENTS:
Austria:
Build A Trieste

Italy:
Build F Naples

NEXT DEADLINE:  Spring 1913 orders are due TUESDAY, October 26, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern US
time.  That's TUESDAY, not Wednesday.  I'm going to be traveling on Wednesday so I've moved the deadline up a day.  Don't worry, I'll send out the usual reminder.

Cheers,
Chris

(DC 326) Gumball - Fall 1912 Results - Corrino   (Oct 20, 2010, 8:22 pm)
Hi Players,

Twelve years gone, seven countries still standing.  Kudos to all, especially our witches, who are still fighting the good fight down to their very last units.

Highlights:

. Army Ankara moves!  Or tries to, anyway.  Too bad for the Sultan he guessed wrong.  Heads instead of tails and he would have recaptured Constantinople and we would see a Turkish build this turn.  That would have been something, wouldnt' it?

. Army Liverpool moves!  Or tries to, anyway.  A good guess for the K of E, as he bounces the French fleet out of Wales.  Wales for the Welsh!  Hurrah, The King!

. The mighty German Reich is looming most menacingly over the British Isles and, dare we mention, most of France.  Progress is
made on the eastern front, as well, as the Archduke, distracted by the annoying Russian army in Galicia, fails to protect his position in Bohemia and thus loses it to the Kaiser's forces.

. A mixed turn for Austria-Hungary, to be sure.  Venice held, Bohemia lost, Rumania regained, and Bulgaria lost.  At least the latter fell to a friend.  The army lost can be reformed.  Not bad, in the balance.

. Italy maintains his steady upward climb with the accidental (?) addition of Bulgaria.  In the west, he chooses not to defend Brest, and is rewarded when neither Germany or France makes an attempt on it.  Life is not perfect for the Italians, though.  The gain of Spain is plainly in his brain.  Unfortunately, it's not in the moves.

RETREATS:
Russian A Rumania can retreat to Ukraine or Sevastopol or off the board.
Austrian army Bohemia is dislodged and has no valid
retreats.  Unit is disbanded.

ADJUSTMENTS:
Italy & Austria are building.  Russia is removing.  See below for all the details.

DEADLINES:
The Russian retreat is due ASAP, please.  If not received by Thursday night at 8 p.m. Eastern US time, the unit will be disbanded.

Winter Adjustments are officially due Friday night at 8 p.m., but if you can get them in earlier you would be doing me a favor.  I have houseguests arriving Friday night, so I'd like to put out both the retreats and adjustments tomorrow.  I'm hoping Austria and Italy can make their decisions without knowing where the Russian army is going.

Cheers,
Chris

Go, go, Gumball!

That makes 11 years now of rollicking mayhem on The Gumball Express.  We still have all our players on board, even if two of them are clinging to the guardrail with one hand.

Highlights and observations:

. Italy continues his steady progress forward, stealing into the unprotected French port of Brest in the middle of the Autumn night.  That's another build for the green team.  What do you think we'll see, fleet number seven?

. Three English home centers now belong to three different nations, as Germany slaps the French hand away from Edinburgh and claims it for himself.  Is it just a little lovers spat, or the beginning of something more contentious?  I bet I know which one our English survivor in Liverpool is praying
for.

. Roll out the barrel, Germany is having a barrel of fun!  One more dot gained means the Kaiser is the first one to reach double-digits in the SC count and has passed the halfway point to victory.  Not that anyone is counting....

. Austria remains locked with Germany in the middle of the board, while his eastern fringe units do a commendable job of fending off that pesky Russian army in Rumania.

. And last, but certainly no worse than tied for least, our Sultan sits fat and reasonably happy in Ankara.  It simply isn't possible for Italy to eliminate him with just those two fleets, so I have a feeling we're going to be seeing A Ankara holds for quite some time to come.

Chugga, chugga, ...

RETREATS:  None required.  English fleet Edinburgh auto-retreats to Clyde.  No point in the OTB option, since he has to remove a unit anyway.

chugga, chugga...

ADJUSTMENTS:  Yes,
there are.  Germany & Italy are up.  England & France are down.  You can see chart below for details.

Choo, choo!

NEXT DEADLINE:  Adjustment orders are due by 8:00 p.m Eastern U.S. time on Friday, October 8.  If I have all the orders in hand and marked FINAL within 24 hours, I'll go ahead and adjudicate early.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Players,

Apologies for the late posting.  I was giving the Kaiser a few extra hours grace in which to submit his orders, but it mattered not.  Germany NMR's for the Spring turn.  I suppose he just wanted to give the rest of you a free turn to catch up!

Not a big turn, movement-wise.  A few bounces... a few positioning moves... no units dislodged and no SC changing hands.

It's late and I'm feeling tired, not inspired, so I'll just forgo the usual witty synopsis, all right?

RETREATS:  None

NEXT DEADLINE:  Fall 1911 due Wednesday, October 6, at 8 p.m. Eastern US time.

Herr Kaiser -- I need to see your orders ASAP to show me you're still in the game.
Thanks.

Cheers,
Chris

Hello Players,

England has failed to submit orders for the third time in a major season.  As I said after the last time, he is out of chances.  I declare the position abandoned.  Fortunately, I have had someone waiting in the wings to help us out, so there will be no delay in the game -- beyond the small grace period this evening.

So, here we are with ten years come and gone in our little adventure.  Congratulations to everyone (except England) for staying the course and, amazingly, staying in the game.  Standard games with seven players still alive after ten years are rare indeed.  Gunboat ones are unprecedented, in my experience.  Not that we don't have a couple of players on the ropes, but all-in-all an outstanding
effort.

Highlights of this, our twentieth season:

. Germany strengthens his line against Austria by forcing his way into Silesia.  The unfortunate defenders were not only outgunned by the German troops, but were forced to scatter into the fields as their only retreat was blocked by their own Rumanian division.

. The Rumanian army found a second reason to look embarrassed.  It seems that while they were moving to "help" their comrades in Silesia, they forgot to lock the door behind them and a Russian army slipped in and made themselves at home.  Add another unit to the Tsar's forces, now double what the were a few short years ago.

. In trading Rumania and Constantinople for Bulgaria, the Archduke has lost his long-standing status as the clear number 2 man on the board.  Now on 6 SC, he is tied for second with Italy and France.  The Kaiser, of course, leads the board with 9 SC in his control.

.
Not all Austrian moves proved futile, however.  A Bulgaria finally made good on a long-standing promise and helped his Italian friends into Constantinople.  The Sultan is down to his capital and his last unit.  Don't count him out quite yet, though.  He's a wily one.

. An Italian fleet steams into the English Channel.  What does that mean?  I'm not sure, but you have to admit there's a lot of potential for mischief there.

. In England, our substitute king beats a planned retreat to the safety (?) of Edinburgh.  The friendly (??) Germans in the North Sea "helped" him push him along.

RETREATS:  Turkish F Constantinople auto-retreats to Black Sea, its only legal option.

Ownership:

Austria (6):   Budapest, Bulgaria, Serbia, Trieste, Venice, Vienna.
England (2):   Edinburgh, Liverpool.
France (6):    Brest, London, Marseilles, Paris, Portugal,
Spain.
Germany (9):   Belgium, Berlin, Denmark, Holland, Kiel, Munich, Norway, St Petersburg, Sweden.
Italy (6):     Constantinople, Greece, Naples, Rome, Smyrna, Tunis.
Russia (6):    Moscow, Rumania, Sevastopol, Warsaw.
Turkey (1):    Ankara.

Adjustments:

Austria:   Supp  6 Unit  6 Build  0
England:   Supp  2 Unit  2 Build  0
France:    Supp  6 Unit  6 Build  0
Germany:   Supp  9 Unit  8 Build  1
Italy:     Supp  6 Unit  5 Build  1
Russia:    Supp  4 Unit  3 Build  1
Turkey:    Supp  1 Unit  2 Remove  1

DEADLINE:  Builds and Disbands are due by Friday night, September 24, at 8 p.m. Eastern U.S. time.  If you guys get them in by tomorrow
night, I'll adjudicate early.  Adjustment orders are always assumed final unless otherwise

Cheers,
Chris

Great Galloping Gumballs!  Can you believe we're starting our 10th year together?  The sun may or may not set on the British Empire, but the fun never stops on Gumball Street!.

Highlights of the season:

. England and Turkey are still holding their own for now, but the pressure isn't easing in the least.

. Italy and France butt heads again.  Inconclusive, again, but look out!  Here comes a new green fleet.  Will this be the one to break the deadlock?  I'm guessing... sorry, I can't say.

. Austria and Germany set their armies up in a very attractive line, while Russia wisely extricates himself from the middle of the big boys' skirmish.  Pundits predict a lot of boot stamping and gun waving, but not much in the way of movement
for a while.

RETREATS:  None.

NEXT DEADLINE:  Fall 1910 is due Wednesday, September 22, at 8 pm Eastern US time.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Players,

First, a small correction.  Austria did submit an order for F Venice, a misorder to be precise.  Here it is:

F Venice Supports A Berlin - Warsaw

On the retreats:

English F London retreats to Yorkshire (automatic).
French F Mid-Atlantic Ocean retreats to Portugal.
Turkish F Sevastopol retreats to Black Sea.
Turkish A Smyrna is unordered, and hence is disbanded.

Thus, we can now state without conditions our required adjustments for this year:

Austria:   Supp  7 Unit  7 Build  0
England:   Supp  2 Unit  4 Remove 2

France:    Supp  6 Unit  5 Build  1

Germany:   Supp  9 Unit  7 Build  2
Italy:     Supp  5 Unit  4 Build  1

Russia:    Supp  3 Unit  3 Build  0
Turkey:    Supp  2 Unit  3 Remove 1

Retreats are due tomorrow, Friday, September 10, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern US time.  Many of you have already submitted, so thanks to you.  Remember, if you don't have receipt, I don't have your orders.

Cheers,
Chris

Hey Players,

Good to see everyone all in their places with bright, shiny faces.  We just managed to avoid another NMR, which is good, but I think a couple people may have written their orders in too much of a hurry.  You'll see what I mean.

Highlights:

. Italy retakes Smyrna and MAO.  It's party time in Rome this season!

. France invites Austria to the Italian party.  Once, twice, thrice!  Who elected you social director, Monsieur?  The Archduke has his Piedmont army deliver his regrets to Marseilles.

. England has a bad year at the office.  France gets help from Germany to capture the English capital.  In the confusion, The Admiralty sends F Skaggerak's orders to Norway where they are intercepted by the German
navy steaming unopposed into the beautiful fjords.

. Russia retakes Sevastopol to stay even at three SC.  Russian language teachers are sent by train from Moscow to teach the mother tongue to an entire generation that has grown up speaking Turkish.  Elsewhere, a side-trip to Prussia has some observers scratching their heads.

. A bad year for witches all around, as Turkey joins England in being reduced to just two SC.  The Turks do manage to sneak into Bulgaria, but a poorly written support order loses them the chance to take Constantinople.  Russia, Italy and Austria all take away a yellow dot, leaving only Ankara and Bulgaria under the Sultan's rule.

All in all, quite an interesting end to an interesting year.

RETREATS REQUIRED:  Please submit by 8 pm Eastern time on Thursday, September 9.  That's tomorrow.

English F London is auto-retreated to Yorkshire.  As always, the king may opt
to remove the unit instead.

French F Mid-Atlantic Ocean can retreat to North Atlantic Ocean or Irish Sea or English Channel or Brest or Gascony or Portugal or off the board.

Turkish F Sevastopol can retreat to Black Sea or Armenia or off the board.
Turkish A Smyrna can retreat to Syria or Armenia or off the board.

ADJUSTMENTS:  Looking ahead, none of the retreats will affect the SC count.  Germany leaps into the top spot and our two witches take a tumble.  I will republish this tomorrow when I post the retreats.  Builds and disbands are due on Friday.

Austria:   Supp  7 Unit  7 Build  0
England:   Supp  2 Unit  4 Remove 2 ...
Remove only 1 if F London retreats OTB.
France:    Supp  6 Unit  5 Build  1 ... Build 2 if F MAO retreated OTB.
Germany:   Supp  9 Unit  7 Build  2
Italy:     Supp  5 Unit  4 Build  1
Russia:    Supp  3 Unit  3 Build
0
Turkey:    Supp  2 Unit  4 Remove 2 ... Remove only 1 or 0 if one or two units, respectively, are retreated OTB.

Cheers,
Chris

(DC 326) Gumball - Spring 1909 Results - Corrino   (Sep 01, 2010, 7:32 pm)
Go, Go, Gumball!

Now that's what I'm talking about!  I know I was a little harsh on you guys last year.  Sorry about that, but I'm happy that for whatever reason things are really happening now.  Like what, you ask?

Like convoys:
1.  English A Edinburgh convoys to Norway.  Bounce!  But maybe that's a good thing because...
2.  French A Picardy convoys to Wales.  Success!
3.  French A Spain convoys to North Aftrica.  Oops, forgot the boat.  Nice idea, though!

Like kick-ass conflict:
1.  Austria and Italy finally get all the parts hooked up correctly.  Welcome to Constantinople, boys!
2.  Everybody wants to go to Silesia.  But not everybody put enough effort into it.  It's
2-to-1-to-1 in favor of Germany.
3.  When is a stab not a stab?  When a feint at Rome proves to be just a setup to kicking a Froggish army out of Piedmont.

Like "Russian Regrets":
1.  Russia loses once:  Germany walks into St. Pete unopposed.
2.  Russia loses twice:  The Tsar finally attacks Sevastopol with two units, only to find the meddlesome Archduke propping up that annoying Turkish fleet.

And just for old times sake, like "Where I put brain again?"
1.  Italian F Venice tries to hold in Trieste.
2.  French A Piedmont tries to convince somebody, anybody, to move against Rome.  Can't blame you for trying, Pierre, but do remember next time that "Tyr" is not a legal abbreviation (use Tys or Tyl).  Of course, we presume you realize that even if it were, what you ask just ain't possible -- at least, not with the board we're looking at.

RETREATS:  Only one choice
for each unit, so they've been auto-retreated as follows.  If you want to disband the unit instead, just let me know within 24 hours.

French A Piedmont retreats to Marseilles.
Turkish F Constantinople retreats to Black Sea.

NEXT DEADLINE:  Wednesday, September 8, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern US time.

Cheers,
Chris

Hey Players,

Here's another 24 hours gone by and I still have just 6 sets of orders.  Our English King is once again AWOL.  That means he scores his second NMR of the game, and once again I'll go through the process of trying to track him down.  He's a busy man, I know, but that's not your fault or mine, is it?  I'll let you know if he turns up or if we need to acquire a replacement.

So, did he at least pay a terrible price for his inaction?  Ha!  I'm actually pretty sure it didn't make a damn bit of difference.  I'm planning to submit a record of this turn to the World Diplomacy Hall of Fame for their consideration in the category "Most Boring Season".  How boring is it?  It's so boring, that's the best joke I could come up
with.

C'mon guys!  Wake up!  You do know what they say about crazy people and repetitive actions, right?

RETREAT REQUIRED:  Italian F Mid-Atlantic Ocean can retreat to North Atlantic Ocean or Irish Sea or Gascony or Western Mediterranean or off-the-board.  Please get that to me within 24 hours, Monsignor.

ADJUSTMENTS:  None.  Nada.  Zilch.  34 dots on the board and they're all colored just the same as they were before this year started.  Wait a minute!  If Italy retreats his fleet off the board, he can rebuild a new unit back home in Rome or Naples.  (I think the Austrians might be insulted, though.  They're taking such good care of the place.)

NEXT DEADLINE:  Retreat & possible adjustment tomorrow night for Italy.  Next Wednesday for everybody else.  8:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time, same as always.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Players,

Once again, sorry for the day's delay in getting you these results.  I hope it didn't have too large a negative impact on your life.  Mea culpa.

Examining the moves before me, I judge that we had a very SHIFTY turn this time.
Russia shifts away from Scandinavia and towards the Turkish invader in Sevastopol.Germany shifts away from England and towards Russia.France shifts away from pure defense and towards both Italy and England... or maybe German-occupied Belgium.  I have to admit that those support orders from Spain and Picardy have me completely puzzled.  Is he sending signals to... himself?Austria shifts away from France and towards Germany.Italy shifts into third-gear and breaks out of the
Med, but is still stuck in neutral against the Turks.
And Turkey, just to prove the exception to the rule, is just a shiftless layabout.  No offense.
RETREAT REQUIRED:  French fleet MAO may retreat to Brest, Gascony, Irish Sea, North Atlantic Sea, Portugal, or off the board.  Please submit your retreat by 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning, approximately 36 hours from now.  I will post it earlier if I can, but may not be able to do the mapping until then.

NEXT DEADLINE:  Fall 1907 is due next Wednesday, August 25, at 8 p.m. Eastern US time.

Cheers,
Chris

(DC 326) Gumball - Autumn 1907 Results - Corrino   (Aug 13, 2010, 7:12 am)
Hi Players,

Well, things just keep getting interestinger.  Germany has failed to submit a retreat order for A Norway and, therefore, that unit is disbanded.

If you will recall, it was an NMR by England that led to his losing control of Scandinavia a few years back.  Now, thanks to a similar lapse by Germany (and a big helping hand from Russia) the chilly lands are back in play.

Recap of retreats for this season:

German A Norway disbands
German A Galicia - Silesia
Austrian A Tyrolia - Venice

No map at this time.  I'll give you one tonight when I send out the Winter results.  Here's a reminder of the adjustments that are due in 12 hours time:

Austria:   Supp  7 Unit  7 Build  0
England:   Supp  4 Unit  3 Build  1
France:    Supp  5 Unit  5 Build  0
Germany:   Supp  7 Unit 7 Build 0
Italy:     Supp  4 Unit  5 Remove 1
Russia:    Supp  3 Unit  3 Build  0
Turkey:    Supp  4 Unit  3 Build  1

Cheers,
Chris
