Hey Players,

Here's another 24 hours gone by and I still have just 6 sets of orders.  Our English King is once again AWOL.  That means he scores his second NMR of the game, and once again I'll go through the process of trying to track him down.  He's a busy man, I know, but that's not your fault or mine, is it?  I'll let you know if he turns up or if we need to acquire a replacement.

So, did he at least pay a terrible price for his inaction?  Ha!  I'm actually pretty sure it didn't make a damn bit of difference.  I'm planning to submit a record of this turn to the World Diplomacy Hall of Fame for their consideration in the category "Most Boring Season".  How boring is it?  It's so boring, that's the best joke I could come up
with.

C'mon guys!  Wake up!  You do know what they say about crazy people and repetitive actions, right?

RETREAT REQUIRED:  Italian F Mid-Atlantic Ocean can retreat to North Atlantic Ocean or Irish Sea or Gascony or Western Mediterranean or off-the-board.  Please get that to me within 24 hours, Monsignor.

ADJUSTMENTS:  None.  Nada.  Zilch.  34 dots on the board and they're all colored just the same as they were before this year started.  Wait a minute!  If Italy retreats his fleet off the board, he can rebuild a new unit back home in Rome or Naples.  (I think the Austrians might be insulted, though.  They're taking such good care of the place.)

NEXT DEADLINE:  Retreat & possible adjustment tomorrow night for Italy.  Next Wednesday for everybody else.  8:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time, same as always.

Cheers,
Chris

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
