DC177 Fall 1906 Results - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
No moves from Germany, so, since he used his grace in the spring, he
NMRs. Alf, please send me some prelims for the next deadline ASAP so I
know you still plan on continuing...if something is wrong and you can't
let me know so that I can find a replacement.
In other news, Germany's NMR doesn't hurt him because of some Russian
help, Italy loses two more centers, and French fleets in the Ionian Sea
area seem to have miscommunicated...though the light blue still nabs Naples.
No retreats, so we move directly to Winter 1906, which will be due this
Wednesday, August 7, at 9 pm eastern. Adjustments due are listed below
the adjudication.

My apologies for not sending in my disband. This was not an indication of a surrender from Russia, but ordinary sloppiness. Sorry to have to disappoint some of you.I was under the impression I had sent orders to disband BOH. Relieved to see that this is also the default.

2008/7/23 Matt Kremer <matthew.kremer(at)yale.edu (matthew.kremer(at)yale.edu)>:
I didn't receive anything from Russia, so his A Boh is auto-disbanded. France continues the southernly seaward push with a build of F Mar.
The deadline for Spring 1906 will be this coming Monday, July 28, at 9 pm eastern. Mark your orders final if you want an early adjudication!
Note that, as this is the beginning of 1906, I will now accept end-of-game proposals. Whenever you submit a proposal it will be proposed with the next adjudication (of any kind), with the votes to be due on the following movement (spring or fall) deadline. Feel free to shoot me any questions.

Turkey retreats F Ion - Aeg, and thus we move on to Winter, due Tuesday,

France has one build and Russia has one removal, so I will process those
as soon as I receive them.

Sorry for the delay; busy last couple of days. Russia exchanges a
support for survival, Italy takes Budapest but sees the French sack Rome
after foreign powers bounce in Naples, and Turkey is overpowered in the
Ionian Sea.
There is one retreat: Turkish F Ion can retreat to Alb, Aeg, Eas, or
OTB. That retreat is due Monday, July 21, at 9 eastern, but I will
process it as soon as I receive it. The deadline for Winter 1905
adjustments will be Tuesday, July 22, at 9 eastern. Adjustments due
will be listed with the retreat.

Austria manages to keep both his units after some foraging, France rides
a German convoy across the North Sea to Edinburgh, and Italy continues
to push northward.
There were only two retreats: Italian A Vie had only one on-board
retreat and thus has been retreated to Vie. English fleet Eng has been
retreated to Iri for the sake of game speed. Joe, if you wish to
retreat to Pic (your only other on-board option), or if either of you
wish to retreat OTB, let me know ASAP.
Winter 1903 is due this Friday, June 6, at 9 pm eastern. Adjustments
due are listed below the adjudication. As a heads up, Spring 1904 will
not be due until Tuesday, June 17th, at 9 pm eastern because I will be
out of town from Saturday until then. Note that this means there will
NOT be a reminder email, so send prelims and/or don't rely on it.

After all this hard work, the Russian Tsar needs his rest. He will be on vacation from May 9-18. While on vacation he is unlikely to have access to any means of correspondence. That means that Russia's final orders for Fall will be submitted early in the day on May 9.

And the players all put those new units straight to work! England reclaims the North Sea but is forced out of Norway by Russia and finds the French on his soil and Russia teams with both Turkey and Italy to put Austria in a pretty sticky situation.

DC177 Fall 1901 Results - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
A very eventful fall as some not so friendly relationships begin.
Germany and France team to wrest the North Sea from England, Russia
steals Vienna from Austria, and every neutral except Portugal is claimed.
There is one retreat due from England. It is due tomorrow, Wednesday,
April 30, at 9 pm eastern. Following that, Winter adjustments will be
due for all players on Friday, May 2, at 9 pm eastern. With both the
retreat and adjustments, remember, all orders are presumed final unless
explicitly marked as preliminary and I will adjudicate as soon as I have
a set of orders from everyone.

It has come to my attention that I failed to include my confirmation
policy in the game start email, so here it is: I do not usually send
confirmations for every single set of orders that comes in. Rather,
when I send a deadline reminder email around 24 hours before a deadline
I will write from whom I have and have not received orders. If,
however, you note that you would like immediate confirmation of your
orders then I will reply confirming them. Let me know if anyone has a
serious problem with this policy and we'll try to work something out.

PS Don't forget to mark your orders as final if you're sure of them so
that the game doesn't stall if everyone's ready![Reply] |
