Farsightedness: The Butterfly Effect states that a butterfly that flaps its wings in Malaysia could cause a typhoon in British Columbia. So too could minor variations in one part of the board affect play across the board. The Captain of Watch asesses the board for all possible impacts - both immediate and long-term.

Folks,
I've gotten a few comments about the arrows - thanks for the encouragement. I realize they're very amateur, but that's what you get when you trust me to edit a map! ;o)
I believe everyone has weighed in about the deadline, and Thursday sounds like a go. I'll set the official deadline for then, and we'll roll into the next turn that afternoon.
Any more comments about the map? Is everyone satisfied with the colors and the patterns for powers? With the land and sea shades? I'll happily consider any comments you guys still care to throw out.
