Que Tu Es

As Spring came in 1908
The Sultan sought to tempt his fate
A song he wrote within his trench
And despite the Arch-duke's monkey wrench
Turkey's Song proved forever great.

------------------------------------------------------------

Hi gents,

Turkey spins a tune that seems hauntingly familiar
as Italy shifts focus and England takes no chances
with his convoys this time around. One disband from
the Spring moves, the ill-fated Berlin force from
Turkey, but no retreats are required.

We move on into Fall 1908 with the order deadline
set for Thursday, December 20th (11:59 PM GMT).
Please just let me know if you spot any errors.

Cheers guys. Happy reading!!

CURRENT SEASON:

FALL 1907 TURKISH PRESS:

A long, long time ago… I can still remember… how
those Russians used to cheat and lie…
But I knew if I had my chance… that I could lure
them with my chants… and maybe they'd survive… a
little while… But A and I did make me shiver… with
every email undelivered… bad news on the warfront… I
couldn't take… one more lump. I can't remember if
I cried… when I read about that Russian guy… No, I
got an itch and scratched my hide… The day… The
Russian… Died…

And they were singin… Bye, bye to Motherland of Rye
They were movin now they're losin-- their momentum
subsides
Now the good old boys drink their vodka all night…
Singin this'll be the day Russia died…
… This'll be the day Russia died….

Did you have faith in that book we love…
The one about the blue bird and the dove… yeah I
told ya so.
Now do you believe it's time to rock and roll!
Can good moves save our mortal soul… And can we make
it happen… real slow….
Cuz I want him to remember this for the game -- cuz
his refusal to listen… was so lame..
We all shall win real soon…
Man I dig this change of tune!!! Whew!
I was a lonely shepherding peaceful Turk!
Till the Russian attacked me… like a… Wink
But now it's time to get to work.
The day… the Russian… Dies.

And they were singin… Bye, bye to Motherland of Rye
They were movin now they're losin-- their momentum
subsides
Now the good old boys drink their vodka all night…
Singin this'll be the day Russia died…
… This'll be the day Russia died….

Now for three years… I've been on my own.
While no one threw me a frikkin bone
But that's not how it's gonna be. When the Queen
moved her fleets to the Med
Italy knew he'd soon be dead
And the fat lady? Yeah that alllllll she said…
Oh, and while the Tzar was looking down, the others…
stole his lame-ass crown.
They tossed him out of Ser… Repaid for deaths in
Ber…
And while Russia read the grim results.
The trio practiced new insults.
And we sang our dirges free of guilts.
The day. The Russian…. Died.

And they were singin… Bye, bye to Motherland of Rye
They were movin now they're losin-- their momentum
subsides
Now the good old boys drink their vodka all night…
Singin this'll be the day Russia died…
… This'll be the day Russia died….

I met a player… who sang the blues.
And I asked him for the chance to choose… But he
just smiled and turned away.
I went around to the others galore… And I asked them
to attack me no more…
But the others… said that they just… couldn't play….

And in the streets… the children screamed…
While Rum was toast… and Ser got reamed…
But many words were spoken… the vic'try pipe soon be
to'ken…
And the three things I admire most… my family,
friends… and royal goat…
They sent to Moscow one last note…
"Good day. Now Moscow… Dies."

And they were singin… Bye, bye to Motherland of Rye
They were movin now they're losin-- their momentum
subsides
Now the good old boys drink their vodka all night…
Singin this'll be the day Russia died…
… This'll be the day Russia died….

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
