At a special press conference in light of the recent events in Berlin, Turk leaders effect prominent displays of confusion, quizzical bewilderment, and dumbfoundedness. Asked for a statement on the matter, the official Turk position is: “Huh?”

A Berlin army the Sultan did lack
No means with which to attack
Yet there was nothing to grieve
For the Tsar - he did leave
And in Serbian fields the Turk did strike back.

Yes - payment in full is exacted in Serbia for the Spring slaughter of Berlin. Yet bewilderingly enough, Russia leaves Berlin in Turkish control for the winter turn. Meanwhile, England and Italy volley back and forth in the struggle for the Mid Atlantic. Wheels within wheels indeed. =P

No retreats are required for the Fall turn, although the armies in Serbia and Paris do meet grim ends. With that, we bid farewell to Dem. Thanks for playing it right to the bitter end, bro. I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say it would be good to see you again on another board.

Winter 1908 adjustments will be due on Saturday, December 22nd (11:59 PM GMT). After that, we'll break over Christmas Turkey and return for Spring 1909 orders on Saturday, Dec 29th (11:59 PM GMT). Please just let me know if either that schedule doesn't work for you, or if you spot any errors in the adjudication.

Cheers!

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
