Captain of the Watch

Farsightedness: The Butterfly Effect states that a butterfly that flaps its wings in Malaysia could cause a typhoon in British Columbia. So too could minor variations in one part of the board affect play across the board. The Captain of Watch asesses the board for all possible impacts - both immediate and long-term.

The 3-way draw passed... the game is over! Congratulations to Spain, Germany and Turkey on the draw.
This game will register as being complete on the Winter 1944 turn. Spring 1945 will not be run or published. (FYI, the 2-way draw did not pass)

ALL PLAYERS - Please take the time and submit an end of game statement. For those unfamiliar with these, this is where all the players analyze or describe the game from their perspective, covering (in as much detail as they wish) their thinking during the game, the moves they made etc. Please email these to me, the forum (dc506(at)diplomaticcorp.com) and copy to all players.
