Hey folks. I'm glad to trot out the long-awaited Fall 1867 adjudication. As always, we have our share of blood and triumph as the scales continue to tip first one way, then the other. With regrets, this will be the final major season for our Confederate friends as they fall to the Yankees after many seasons of fierce combat. My great thanks goes to Jim for stepping into this role, as tough as it was, and playing it out to the end with class. We'll see you in the next one, Jim!
Also of note in this turn was a French misorder that allowed Brazil to succeed into the Virgin Islands where otherwise it would have been a 3:3 stand-off. F VRD was ordered twice, unfortunately. While it appears that the initial order was meant for the fleet in Toledo, the incorrect abbreviation was used. As per my house rules, in the case of multiple orders for a unit it is the first one taken, reading from top to bottom of the list. In this case, that was the void order. Hope that's clear with everyone - if anyone has any further questions on it than please just let me know.
We have four retreats to settle before moving to Winter adjustments. The aforementioned French fleet in the Virgin Islands, the Russians in Skaggarak, the Japanese in Fiji and the Mexicans in the West Carribean. Deadline for these retreats will be set for Tuesday, January 15th (11:59 PM GMT) please.
Finally - a DIAS has been proposed. Everyone please let me know with your winter adjustments (deadline to be set) whether you say yay or nay to this proposal. Failure to vote will count as a negative vote.
