The year of the Gaels has arrived, with their successful capture of
both Gwynned and Dyfed from the Bretons. Coupled with a successful
defense of Ulster, they surge ahead to 6 SCs. The Danes press ahead
into Neustria, and claim Varmland from the Norse. The Norse and
Scottish counterattack on Vestfold fails, as does the Scottish attack
on Ulster. A tough year for that alliance. Meanwhile, the
Anglo-Saxon invasion force takes shape in the English Channel as the
war against the Bretons draws to a close. But will the Bretons find a
patron in the new war between the Gaels and Scots, and cling to life?
One retreat required: Norse A Varmland can retreat to Jamtland or OTB.
