Dear Players,

I have chosen the redscape house rules as my model for dealing with NBRs. I received a question regarding disbands.

I put the following to some more experienced GMs than I:

"Regarding disbands in the event of NBR or Civil Disorder, The redscape house rules state that units should be disbanded in the following order:

A. Unit furthest from the Power's home country, non-supply center
B. Unit in the Power's home country, non-supply center
C. Unit in a supply center furthest from the Power's home country
D. Unit in the Power's home supply center

My case is I have 3 French units in civil disorder and 1 supply centre left unoccupied. I have 1 unit in category A and 2 in category B - both Armies
Is there a protocol for which of the armies should be disbanded? or do I just flip a coin?"

and I was almost immediately equipped with the following:

"When a tie exists, you are supposed to then go alphabetical
one disbands, the first alphabetical gets removed first
the same for builds when using default builds, A gets built before B"

Therefore - now that France is in Civil Disorder, you can safely assume that the 2 disbands will be F Lyo and A Bur.

Hope that this clears things up

Kind regards

D

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
