I agree with Mark on this one - I thought we had a decent chance at controlling Turkey about a year or so ago when I was advancing on the Med and Austria was almost out - then Russia teamed up with Turkey and turned against Germany. Not that I'm blaming you, John... well, ok I am. Smile

After that, I was pretty sure it was only a matter of time before Turkey would gobble up enough to win...

But very enjoyable to play!

Well, the end-of-game proposal has garnered unanimous support, so this spells the end of DC289. Congratulations to Pontus for the solo victory.
Thanks to everyone for a well-played game without a single NMR. End-of-game comments are welcome.
