GM - Armies can move or support from one light blue island to the next so long as they are adjacent to a common sea!  They can not support sea units to hold only to move to a light blue Island that they could hop to.    In Oceania Armies on single Islands have no retreat!  Yes they can Island Hop but when dislodged they can not Hop for a retreat.  A very important rule to keep the  fleets as an important part of the game balance.    When an Auto retreat goes to same place as an actual retreat the actual retreat goes and the auto retreat is an OTB.  It is this way mostly because of the difficulty of programming it to be otherwise
and because having an auto retreat defeat a sent in retreat does not seem right.    GM - A 2 way draw between Indonesia and Australia fails with 3 YES and 2 NO! Australia/France successfully defends Tog and dislodges F TON, but is dislodged from control of WNZ by Zealand. As stu is double Island stu retreats to ntu which results in a unit removal for Australia! Indonesia creeps Eastward. Japan holds on without any hope of Build. USoA support to stu not needed by Marshall, USA must remove a unit thanks to Japan in hon. Zealand begins to force back the French with Australia looking on.
========================================================== Oceania DC508\SPRING/2007 Press!:==========================================================   5)France to NZ: Please join me in the attempt to stop Australia, no use in attacking me and let Australia win.   4) The good thing with gunboat is that you don't know the player. And thereby not the players psychological profile. Is he a partner to the end, is he a stabbing type if you turn your back to him, is he revengeful to the end if you have crossed him or is he a labdog. Even if the two players don't communicate with one another they still know these facts.   3) France to all : Since this mistake has taken so much attention.I would like to clarify that I join Indonesia andcan promise you all
I shall not contact him . Otherwise I wouldn't had brought all this into the attention of the GMin the first place.GM: in interest of game play, this is from France.    2) Japan/Marshall/NewZealand/USAUSAUSA - Indonesia: Why should I not play on? If you want a two-way, good luck, but I won't surrender until I'm gone, and I wonder if a stalemate is possible in this variant. So either propose a DIAS or show me that a 2-way is really a likely result. I think not! GM two cents: forming a stalemate line in this game is much harder than in other ones which is why I like running the game.    1) Nobody has ever won this variant but Japan.  Looks like our current fearless leaders want a draw and keep Japan's record intact.==========================================================

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
