I really like Gunboat games. Much more action early in the game than in a regular Standard game!

Germany, with a bit of help from England dislodged Russia from Sweden, but otherwise neither did much else. Russia continued his march North AND south moving into Budapest, while Turkey moved South and West to disband Austria's army in Greece. Austria didn't do too bad since he was able to dislodge Italy from Trieste. France played footsies with England in the channel again, but was not able to do much.

The Russian Fleet in Sweden can retreat to Gulf of Bothnia, Finland or disband.
The Italian Army in Trieste can retreat to Tyrolia or disband.

(The disband option here give you the chance to rebuild an army or a fleet in your home centers during the next winter adjustments, provided you have enough supply centers)

Summer 02 retreat orders are due on Wednesday, February 4 at 8:30 pm MST (03:30 5-2-15 GMT)

To whom it may concern:
After allowing the build last turn, I must now take Sweden, Sorry...

Further - I am in the market for an ally - would anyone of the western powers be interested?

Officially from Germany

Squidgy to Strangely Brown: Gadzooks, you're not telling me he's sharted in the pool again, are you?
----------------------------------
Hiya,

Germany here again. Geez, there's some naughty people around this Diplomacy board!

Yes Russia, I'm looking at you! When I said 'get out of Galicia' I meant it!!!

And as for you Austria, you might be my brethren but quit it with the 'Mr Floppy' shit already or you'll be joining Russia and Italy on the naughty step.
----------------------------------
Austria is in a position to be stopped now before they can harm either Russia or Turkey. If the Tsar and the Sultan are able to spare the units to cut support of Austrian units, Italy is poised and ready to strike.
----------------------------------
It is my belief that during 1902 we will see russia trying to first take norway with it's stp fleet having the moscow army follow up the plan is obviously to establish a naval presence in nwg if that fails he will most likely move to bar and liv with his fleets assuming that the german player does what I think he will do the only sensible thing in taking Sweden that will come from denmark after that the german player will take norway england will take nwg and eng this turn supported by nth he will think that france will go south which is something a good franceplayer would do next turn after bouncing in eng for one turn. the fleet in ven will go to alb that is the only reason why he would build a fleet there to try to take out greece apu will convoy to tun this turn as well but what he should do instead is that ion should move to eas to bounce the turkish fleet in aeg that will move there to make room for the fleet in con that will set sail ank and bul will bounce each other. the austrian player should support ser into bul with gre and then support bud with vie in and then try to use vie to take back tri because the italian player will try to take ser if its empty obviously russian will try to take bud and bla will move into rum

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
