Openness: As a sculptor views an uncarved slab of marble with an open-mind, so does a new player view a game of Diplomacy. The history of the game unwritten, the paths it will take and the shape of the results lie in the future, to be known only after the contest is completed.

If it works for my man Trout, it works for me. Also,
it can't be me who's surrounded.

I'd be happy with Mr. Magoo if he showed up to play.
Jorge and I have a
solid alliance right now, and we're ready to take on
the world. =)

[quote:3fe9474a82]Hey all.
We have an offer for a new player, but there are

some concerns that I want

to open up before I talk to thi guy.
He is a new potential player, and is known in RL

to 2 existing players

(which is how he got interested)
This would give the game 3 players who know and

see eachother in the real

world, all bordering one of our existing players.
While not a guarentee, thsi could easily spell big

trouble for that

player.
Please send me your opinions, if there are ANY

reservations we will wait

for a non-related player.
(If that occurs this player will be first on the

list for the next WOT

game.)
